Shropshire - Arts Grant Scheme

Scheme Outline 
This funding will support artists; arts organisations, community and voluntary organisations involved in arts activities, arts festivals and arts events in Shropshire.
Eligible Costs 
Funding could pay for items such as: artist fees; coordinator fees; equipment; materials; venue hire; marketing; and administration costs such as postage and photocopying
Funding/Support 
Individuals can apply for up to £500; organisations can apply for up to £1,000
Match Funding
Applications can be for up to a maximum of 75% of the project costs

Individuals and eligible organisations, including voluntary arts and/or community groups; not-for-profit professional arts organisations or community groups; arts festivals; unincorporated groups or artist collectives; and schools based in Shropshire and Telford

Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin – A fund to Support Community Games
 
Scheme Outline
Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin is aiming to support community focused events in 2011, with a grant of a maximum of £250 each that allows communities to come together to host a sporting and cultural celebration of real local significance inspired by the London Olympic and Paralympic Games

All the funding must support the event, which would include for example equipment hire, facility hire, medals etc
